Man dies under mysterious circumstances in Dibrugarh Jail

GUWAHATI | October 10, 2019:

In a shocking incident, an inmate who was serving a life sentence on charges of murder, died under mysterious circumstances in Dibrugarh Central jail on Wednesday

The deceased has been identified as Baban Upadhyay Tiyari, a resident of Dibrugarh district in Assam.

According to sources, the deceased was awarded a life imprisonment by the court for allegedly murdering his wife in the year 2007.
