Nagaland govt suggests CBI probe on Dimapur mob lynching

KOHIMA: The Nagaland government has recommended for CBI inquiry into the March 5 Dimapur lynching case, Chief Minister T R Zeliang revealed today.

The decision was taken by the cabinet at a meeting held here last night, Zeliang said.

A mob had broken into Dimapur Central Jail on March 5, dragged out the rape accused Syed Farid Khan, stripped him naked, paraded him down the road and lynched him.
