Assam: Wrong treatment allegedly causes death of MC College student

Guwahati , Apr 3, 2017– The Barpeta District Commissioner has ordered a judicial probe into the death of Sonali Sarkar, a student of MC College who allegedly died due to wrong treatment.
Kin of the deceased alleged that doctors had administered anesthesia beyond permissible limits while undergoing gall bladder operation at a hospital in the district.
Subsequent to this, the student was admitted to the GMCH who later died on Sunday.
