Assam: Students from Kendra Vidyalaya injured after bus hits pole in Guwahati

GUWAHATI | August 16, 2019:

In an unfortunate incident, few students from Kendriya Vidyalaya Khanapara in Guwahati and its bus driver sustained minor injuries after the school bus lost control and meet with an accident.

According to the parent of the injured students, the school bus driver had sent a substitute driver and due to negligence of the driver, the school bus lost control and hit a pole.

One of the parents students alleged that the school authorities have been neglecting the Hatigaon route for a long time.

The parent said that the bus is not in a good condition and even after repeated request to change the bus, the authorities kept on changing the driver.

Meanwhile the injured have been taken to the nearby hospital for treatment.

A case has been registered under Hatigaon Police station for further investigation.
