Assam | State Bank of India account hacked; Rs. 3 lakh stolen at Guwahati

GUWAHATI | March 8, 2019:
In an incident, a resident of Guwahati lost Rs. 3 lakh to crooks who allegedly hacked into his account and transferred funds fraudulently, all without OTP or responding to a tele-call.
An SBI account holder, Anjan Kumar Das has filed an FIR at Jalukbari Police Station and the authorities are said to communicate with bank officials soon to investigate the matter.
According to the Das's family, over the last three days, the miscreants withdrew money several times from an ATM located in Jharkhand. However, after the suspicious transaction, the bank itself had blocked the ATM card and this was when Das came to know.
