Assam: Rs 2.30 crore in new Rs 2000 notes seized in Nagaon

| GUWAHATI: Demonetization has had a profound impact on the ones who have illegally stashed their money and the state of Assam is under the scanner.
Law enforcement officials of the Income Tax department on seized a whopping Rs 2.30 crore (approx.) in new Rs 2000 notes at Bor Bazaar in Nagaon.
The amount was seized from the possession of Amulya Das, owner of Mahim Store.
I-T sleuths are investigating the matter.
