Assam: PSO of HAD Minister killed in accident in Karbi Anglong
GUWAHATI | NOV 13, 2019:
In a tragic incident, a PSO of Hills Area Development (HAD), Mininister Sum Ronghang died in a car accident on late Tuesday night around 11:30 PM at Dharamtul under Bokolia Police station.
The PSO has been identified as Birendra Terang (50) and was reportedly travelling in a minister convoy.

According to reports, the incident took place, when he was on his way after attending an cultural event 'Kasomari Ragh' and at around 11:30 PM while giving way for a bike which was coming from the opposite direction, the vehicle lost control and fell in the canal at Rajapathar Dharamtul.

Following the incident the victim was taken to a nearby health centre where he succumbed to his injuries.
