Assam: Massive fire in Dibrugarh engulfs 40 houses; no loss of life reported

Huge loss of property has been reported from Dibrugarh after a massive fire broke out on Sunday night causing multiple cylinder explosions.

As per a report by a regional news website, a massive fire broke out in Loharpatty's Theatre Para Road in Dibrugarh on Sunday night.

It was reported that several cylinders exploded at the place of incident which intensified the fire and gutted more than 40 houses leading to huge loss of property.

Seven fire-brigade trucks were set to the task of extinguishing the flames. As per latest reports, no casualties or injuries have been reported so far.

The actual cause of the fire is yet to be known.
