Assam: IIT-G teacher receives national award for best research work!

GUWAHATI MAR23: IIT-G's Manish Kumar Goyal, who teaches civil engineering, received the ISTE-SGSITS national award for best research work by a young teacher recently.
Goyal, who is the author of two books for undergraduate students, has significantly contributed towards hydrological and hydrodynamic modelling of the Teesta river basin. "I am very happy and honoured by the recognition my work has received," Goyal said.
The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is a national non-profit society for technical education. It focuses on overall development of the country's technical education system and recognizes research excellence in engineering and technology.
