Assam: Facebook page under scanner for objectionable content

GUWAHATI, July 20, 2018: Child Rights Activist Miguel Das Queah has raised questions on the objectionable content that was being posted on one of the regional Facebook page 'Sarcasm Society of Assam'.

The child rights activist had also posted on his Facebook timeline to share his concern about the content which was shared on their Facebook page are 'violation of children's rights'.

The concern has also been raised to the Assam Police and the Assam State Commission for Protection of Child Rights by Queah, and has urged the organisations to take immediate action against the social media page.

'Sarcasm Society of Assam' is a regional satirical page listed under the category 'Just For Fun.' The page currently has 64 K followers.
