Assam: Domestic help drugs owners, robs residence

In what may be termed as a sensational incident, a domestic help reportedly robbed a house after drugging the owners in Guwahati.

As per a report in Guwahati Plus, the incident took place in the city's Beltola area on May 29 whereby after drugging the owners in broad daylight, the alleged domestic help robbed the house. The robbery took place at Madan Sharma's residence at Majipara area.

According to reports, the domestic help was employed only 10 days ago by the owners.
Madan Sharma and his wife were found in an unconscious state by their daughter-in-law.
They were later admitted to Nemcare hospital for treatment. Police is currently investigating the matter.
