Assam: 2 dead after IAF chopper crashes at Majuli

GUWAHATI, February 15, 2018: In a tragic incident, an Indian Air Force's micro helicopter with two pilot on board crashed killing both pilot on Thursday in Majuli island, Assam.

Police in the island district had confirmed the incident and the deaths.

Police officer said the incident took place at Sumoimari Chapori, and adding to it he said that Defence and IAF personnel were on their way to Majuli.

The officer also suspected that the crash took place due to technical reasons.
