After Assam, Tripura too starts emergency life support ambulance service

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb today flagged off as many as 50 GPS enabled emergency basic life support ambulances which will be functional throughout the state 24X7 basis.

He stated that in case of any emergency dial 102 for immediate assistance from anywhere of the state to get the prompt service. The ambulances would be moving in the different locations of the state round the clock and the nearest ambulance will respond and reach to the point of call.

"The ambulances are fitted with basic facilities and trained manpower to provide immediate assistance in distress condition," he said adding that healthcare facilities have been extended to distant parts of the state but the problem patients are facing on time evacuation and attend the hospital and with this facility that would be assured
