2 killed in Arunachal road accident

ITANAGAR: Two people were killed in a road accident in Koloriang in Kurung Kumey district of Arunachal Pradesh.

According to official sources, a truck carrying gas cylinders from Koloriang had met an accident near Sangram here. The truck skidded off from the road and fell into the 200 ft gorge while giving way to another approaching truck.

Two persons including the driver of the vehicle died in the accident.

The driver was brought to community health centre, Sangram in a serious condition later, succumbed to his injuries. However, another person died on the spot, sources informed.

Hearing the accident report, the magistrate, Mirpe Tato, and OC T Tagia of Sangram police station rushed to the accident site and recovered the dead body with the help of local people, sources added.
