Nagaland govt calls on stakeholders for a consultative meeting on the Naga peace talks

The Nagaland government has called all stakeholders for a consultative meeting on October 15, to discuss the Naga political issue and the ongoing peace talks between the Naga National Political Organizations and the Government of India (GOI).

All tribal Hohos, mass-based organizations, civil societies, church organizations, political parties, NGOs, prominent persons, are being invited to discuss the Naga society is facing.

The State Government has planned to intervene at this juncture, since there has been no concrete solution to the ongoing peace process between the Naga Political Organizations and the Government of India for nearly two decades.

The stakeholders from various groups and will be allowed a brief time to address their views on the peace talks in the Consultative Meeting.

The meeting will be on October 15, at 10:00 am in the State Banquet Hall, at the Chief Minister’s Residential Complex in Kohima.
