Indian Army officials, on Monday, stated that they would hold a conference of top Army Commanders from October 26 to 29 to discuss the Indo-China border disputes.

However, the Chinese side is yet to confirm the dates, they said.

“The ongoing situation at the China border, operations in Jammu and Kashmir, and several proposals on the reforms to be carried out in the force are expected to be discussed during the conference,” said Army Sources.

The meeting will also discuss various issues such as the cut down on costs incurred in holding ceremonies like colour presentation, regiment reunions, and the strengthening of bilateral ties.
