PEACE TALKS WITH HNLC

Meanwhile, the Health and Family Welfare Minister also informed that he had met the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, G. Kishan Reddy to impress on the need to invite the proscribed HNLC for peace talks.

According to him, Reddy assured that he will raise the HNLC's issue with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah since bringing the militant outfit to the talking tables is critical for the promotion of peace and harmony in the country.
