ANSWER: Welcome to Shillong Poonam. The jainsem is a beautiful wear of the Khasis, a comfortable and easy to wear garment for women of all ages and sizes. It is normally pinned at the shoulders, allowing it to fall to the ankles. The length may adjusted by folding it at the top before it is pinned at the shoulders. Just keep in mind that it has to be worn with a blouse and petticoat underneath.
