Nagaland to provide financial assistance to womenfolk 

KOHIMA | SEPT 04,2020:

To provide financial assistance to poor women, the Directorate of Women Resource Development, Nagaland has asked them to open up personal bank accounts in any bank and submit the photocopy of the details to the Office by September, 30.

"This will enable the transfer of the pension amount directly to their respective bank accounts," Additional Director and HoD of Women Resource Development Vilone Sakhrie said.

The existing beneficiaries may also submit photocopies of their bank passbook within the given period.

"Beneficiaries failing to submit the required bank details within the given period will be dropped from the assistance," he added.

To make sure that the elderly beneficiaries and beneficiaries with disabilities are not left behind, he asked the partner NGOs of the Department to assist in registering them.
