AGARTALA Apr20: The Bharatiya Janata Party has set its eyes to conquer all non-BJP states especially in northeast. In the recently concluded party’s national executive meeting held in Bhubaneswar, the party head fixed next mission to fly the saffron party flag in all the northeast states after assuming power in Assam and Manipur.
Tripura that would go for Assembly polls in 2018, and is one of the strong radar of the party to bring an end to the age-old Marxist rule.
” National chief Amit Shahji gave a clear indication to make the northeast a strong bastion of BJP. so, after Assam and Manipur, our target is to form governments in the rest states as Tripura, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Mizoram are going for polls next year. And for this, Tripura is our main target,” BJP president Biplab Deb said.
It was his interaction with media after coming the meeting in Bhubaneswar.
To boost up the organization, a bunch of leaders are coming here among which Amit Shah’s visit on May 6 is getting much priority.
Prior him, party’s general secretary Ram Madhav is coming on April 22 to talk to the workers about strategies to be followed for the Assembly elections during state-committee meeting.
” Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways , Chief Ministers of Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh – R Das, Yogi Adityanath and Shivraj Chauhan will be also visiting the state soon,” party observer Sunil Deodhar said.
In fact, the party would send 60 ‘vistaraks’ to Tripura to strengthen the organization in grassroot level in all the 60 Assembly seats soon. The process will continue till 2019.
” Our party national chief condemned the violence against the partymen in Tripura, Bengal and Kerala and said that they couldn’t restrain from growing BJP’s prosperity. For Tripura, I can say that lotus will bloom in all the seats next year,” he said.
