Assam: Bishal Sharma grabs the winning trophy of “Super Dancer Chapter 2” with one crore twenty lakh votes

March 25, 2018: After Manashi Saharia, another talent from Assam shines at the national platform.

This time it is Bishal Sharma from Jorhat who grabbed the winning title of “Super Dancer Chapter 2”, Sony’s dance reality show.
12-year-old Bishal, who has a million dollar smile, beat four other finalists Ritwik Diwakar, Vaishnavi Prajapati and Akash Thapa to clinch the trophy at the grand finale of the show, which ended its second edition on Saturday night.
As per reports, Bishal has been felicitated with the grand prize money of Rs 15 lakh along with a trophy, while his mentor got Rs 5 lakhs. Not only this, the boy and his mom were also presented with diamond jewellery. It may be stated that out of 3, 40, 00,000 votes, Bishal won with 1, 20, 00,000 votes through both regular and live voting.
It may be mentioned that Bishal hails from a modest family whose father is a milkman. His victory comes as great delight for the family especially his father who had to go through a lot of hardships to bring him to this platform.
