Despite advisory being issued from time to time by law enforcement agencies on cyber crimes and preventive steps to check online fraud cases, there are still many fraud or cheating cases being reported from different parts of the country.

In a similar case, a young girl from Arunachal Pradesh was reported missing in Delhi since November 28. According to reports, it was suspected that the girl identified as Jenti Bellai had gone to Delhi to meet her alleged boyfriend, she met through Facebook.

It is believed that she went to Delhi with an intention to meet her elusive boyfriend, identified as Ahtar Hasan who promised her a good job in Delhi. But ever since she left, nobody knows about her whereabouts as there has not been any contact with family or friends since Nov 28. Family members’ attempt to contact her failed as her mobile is switch off and her Facebook account is also inactive.

It was informed that the crime branch (missing person) unit in Delhi has been alerted. Police have also registered a case in this regard.

The DCP Crime branch has also been appraised on the matter for immediate help.
