AGARTALA: Like other states, petrol dealers of Tripura would go for a strike from Wednesday which will be in three phases. The agitation is a part of All India Petroleum Dealers’ Association in support of certain demands related to proper blending of ethanol from oil marketing companies before supplying to dealers and others.
In the first phase, the dealers would not supply petrol to their consumers today and October 26 for 15 minutes i.e., from 7 PM to 7.15 PM.
In the second phase, the dealers would not procure petroleum products from big oil companies on November 3. But they would keep stock enough to avoid occurrence of any crisis on that day.
If their demands are not met till then, they would go for the third phase agitation according to which they would stop selling petrol to the consumers from November 15, i.e, ‘No Sale No Purchase’ from that day onward.
