Meghalaya reports 73 new COVID-19 cases 

The northeastern state of Meghalaya reported 73 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total active cases to 680.

The northeastern state of Meghalaya reported 73 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total active cases to 680.

Out of the 73 cases, 36 are from East Khasi Hills.

The state also recorded 41 recoveries and one more fatality.

The number of active cases in Meghalaya now stands at 680, with 470 in East Khasi Hills alone.

The total number of confirmed cases stands at 14,871 out of 4,35,552 tests, with 14,038 recoveries and 153 fatalities.

A total of 69,190 citizens were administered the first jab of the vaccine, and 6,583 citizens received the second dose.
