KOHIMA, April 18 2017: The Government of India on Tuesday decided to extend the Suspension of Operation with two insurgent groups in Nagaland — National Socialist Council of Nagaland- Reformation (NSCN/R) and National Socialist Council of Nagaland- Neokpao- Khitovi (NSCN/NK).
A Ceasefire is in operation between the Government of India and NSCN/R and NSCN/NK.
The GOI decided b to extend the Suspension of Operation with NSCN/R and NSCN/NK, for a further period of one year with effect from 28th April, 2017.
This was signed by Satyendra Garg, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs on behalf of Government of India and Toshi Longkumer & Imlongnukshi Chang on behalf of NSCN/R and Jack Jimomi, Supervisor, GPRN/NSCN on behalf of NSCN/NK.
