COIMBATORE, March 14 2017: After losing the polls battle with only 90 votes, Civil rights activist Irom Sharmila has come down heavily on the BJP accusing the latter of using money and muscle power in the recently concluded assembly elections in Manipur.
Upset and disappointed over the recent outcome of the Manipur Polls, Sharmila said she wanted to be away from her home state for a while.
Sharmila, arrived at Coimbatore International Airport en route to Attappadi in Palakkad district of Kerala where she would spend a month at a mediation centre.

Sharmila’s friend and journalist Basheer Madala received her at the airport. Later, they left for Attappadi by road.
The BJP is set to claim the form of new government in the state with supports from local parties and independents MLAs. The BJP has nominated Nongthombam Biren Singh as Chief Minister after the saffron party forming the government in the state.
