GUWAHATI: Demonetization seems to have brought not much relieve as a man was bludgeoned to death in a drunken brawl, the reason was failure to repay Rs 10 to the accused(murderer).
The victim Lurku Saura, and the murderer, Suku Saura belonged to Adivasis (tea tribe). The incident took place in Balipara Harchura Tea Estate, northern Assam’s Sonitpur district.
